Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your items to return your items to The Company at your cost.

To be eligible for a replacement or a refund, your item must be returned in the same condition that you received it, unmarked or undamaged, with tags, and in its original packaging. 

Damages during shipping and delivery:

If products are damaged during shipping and delivery, we will replace the damaged products. It is vital that you do the following in order to put in a return claim:

- check every parcel upon delivery for visible damage

- photograph any damaged parcels

- make a note on the delivery note of the damage

- email a copy of the delivery note with notes and the photographs to capeart@thecapartcompany.co.za.  

To start a return, you can contact us at capeart@thecapartcompany.co.za. If your return is accepted, you will receive instructions to return the parcels to our business address. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Our wall art pieces are for indoor display only and damage incurred for outdoor display will not be refunded.

We will not be liable for damage incurred during the installation of the product but will aid you in repairs if possible. Due to the natural characteristics of wood, the canvasses should not be exposed to water or steam since they can warp. In the case of warped canvasses that were not exposed, we replace the art.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
